I enjoyed when Karen and I were the only two at work early in the morning, we would relax and have conversations on a variety of topics such as grandchildren and church. Karen was very pleasant to work with…she always had something positive to say to everyone. ![]() Goodman’s manager, Sherre’ Chancey, paid tribute to Goodman’s career, “I only worked with Karen three years, but she has taught me so much…personally and in the business of Fruth. In December, she is planning a trip to Disney World with her husband, two daughters, sons-in-law, and her two grandchildren. Goodman plans to devote more time to her family and the Waverly Baptist Temple, where her husband is a pastor. ![]() I especially want to thank Paula Williams and Sherre’ Chancey, you are really great people to work for, but now I will be able to spend more time with my family, ‘the best there is’,” Goodman fondly finished. “I want to thank Fruth for the privilege of working here and allowing me the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people,”Goodman began, “I want to say thank you for a great place to work. She began her employment with Fruth Pharmacy when her daughter began college. Goodman served in the Waverly store as a receiver, but her expertise was in many areas of store operations. Goodman retired after 20 years of service. Waverly, Ohio – (June 11, 2019) – On Friday, May 31, 2019, Fruth Pharmacy said a sad farewell to Karen Goodman. Currently, Fruth Pharmacy has 31 locations in West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky. I have enjoyed working with Delbert and I will miss his sense of humor, his lightheartedness and the care he has shown our customers,” Sherre’ concluded.Ĭongratulations to Delbert and best wishes!įruth Pharmacy is a family owned company. He extends that energy to his pharmacy staff and teaches them how to handle a hard day. Delbert is very pleasant to work with and has such a great work attitude. He has seen a lot of changes over the years and his steadfastness and work energy hasn’t wavered. Delbert has been a great asset to our Waverly store. Delbert always made it a point to come out and talk to people. Milkshakes were served back by the pharmacy area. ![]() Sherre’ Chancey, Waverly store manager, spoke about Delbert’s service, “I have only had the pleasure of working with Delbert for the last 3 years. I would like to thank Fruth for allowing me to work with them and to serve people together,” Delbert shared. “I wish everyone at the Waverly location well. After 20 years with Kegley, Fruth asked Delbert to continue his career with Fruth Pharmacy. In April of 1993, Kegley Drugs was sold to Jack Fruth, owner of Fruth Pharmacy. Delbert will retire after serving 26 years as a pharmacist for the Waverly location.ĭelbert began his pharmacy career in 1973 with Kegley Drugs.
